In my humble opinion. ✨ Left to right hanging: oregano, lemon balm, thyme, more lemon balm. In the ball jars: lemon balm and purple dead nettle, and some decorative moss. The tchotchkes come from the cutest little garden store in Pt Reyes - Toby’s Feed Barn, and the watering can we found abandoned in the yard when we moved into our home - score! Hi, babes! Today I wanted to share with you my witchy space. You might scroll down and see this photo in your feed, and think "well this is not worth showing". I'm not showing it because it's pretty, or because it's "goals". I'm showing it precisely because it's nothing special to anyone else, but me. Being here on Instagram everyday, I notice a lot of people talking about mental health, and being scared to start comparing yourself, thinking you're not good enough when seeing all the beautiful Insta models and their perfect lives. Well, in the witchy community, we see a lot of people who are so incredibly fortunate to be able to have absolutely magickal homes, and I'm so happy for them. I totally have visions of an insanely cute witchy room, my personal magickal space in the future. But that takes time, effort, a lot of money and dedication to accumulate all that through years, or decades of your witchy journey. So I simply felt like sharing my little witchy corner, right here in my living room. That's all I have, for now, and it's absolutely enough for me to feel happy here. I have a little altar, that is a 6 euro IKEA table, and a small chest drawer, that I got for 5 euros in a second hand shop, to keep my supplies in. No fancy furniture, no antique book shelfs (although, that is the dream ), no Moon shaped closets and crystal baths. My message is not to not want those things, but to remind ourselves that they are just add-ons, not necessities. It's okay, if your witchy space is just a table with a candle on it. You can take years in gathering your fantasy objects and magickal items. No need to be "insta-ready". Today I celebrate my cute little window corner that I wouldn't trade for the world, because this is the start of my journey. And it's god damn lovely. So yeah, just to take the pressure off, if you've been feeling a little overwhelmed lately love you
