'Tourniquet' We grow from our metaphorical bleeding. We may feel overwhelmed at times, like our torn up parts have consumed us but our strength will find ways to flourish in time. This wonderful chameleon has filled my every cell with inspiration and confidence. It's my utmost pleasure and honor to call her a friend and artistic comrade. The wardrobe is by @rawragsbypk, another special collaboration to my heart. We've worked together a few times and it's always a treat to have her genius to play with. I got the idea to blur out the ruins in the background by @amyspanosphotography during a photo meet-up that we did here a few years ago. This hyperrealistic oil painting is part of the “Diovadiova Chrome” series by Brooklyn-based artist Kip Omolade. @kipomolade delicately molds structures of women’s faces in the image of his own while aiming to capture the essence of the model/woman. Essentially, each piece is a depiction of the models reflected environment.
