Here’s another camera that went through our repair service. It had a faulty flash. Can you guess which camera that is?

The warm weather here in Amsterdam made me think back to my time in Dubai last year. At the same time, this also got me thinking about the past year. A lot has happened since my visit to Dubai with regards to my business and personal life. But when I look at my day to day not much seems to change. Only when I look back at a longer period, I see progress and change happening. Progress is one of those things, at least for me, that keeps me moving forward. So don't get stuck in the day to day, make sure to reflect ones in a while to see how you progress and or need to redirect
"We went into the trip believing we had the story already written, something about relishing a slower pace of travel and seeing the world through the lens of America’s backyards. Instead, the trip became a lot more about listening." - @dirtbagdarling reflecting on a recent train trip down the west coast with partner in crime @andrewfitts | See the full story photo essay on fieldmag.com now
This shot was on the same roll as yesterday‘s post so I figured why not share it as well. I posted the slide film version of this a few weeks ago so here is the 35mm shot to keep the train going. I’ll get back to posting medium format stuff eventually but until then it’s always nice to switch things up a little bit.
This is going to be the last 35mm scan I post for a while since I finally (key word: finally) got 2 rolls of medium format slide film developed that I shot back in September. Even though I really only shoot medium format, I did enjoy going back and looking through these 35mm negatives. Definitely makes me want to save up for a Leica. Ok not really, but hopefully you get the point.
