Resurrected from the dead: left hand drive 1972 Datsun Fairlady 240Z . . The car was bought and restored by @didietozbandietoz back in the late 90’s, with little to no parts available back then. This is why the car didn’t look the best back then , but mechanically it ran and drove really good! He had installed linelock for easy burnouts, prepped up the stock L-series Datsun engine, and 17” wheels. You have to keep in mind that the car’s condition wasn’t exactly great when he bought it, also it had a few missing parts so I really am amazed with how the modification and restoration process goes. I had a few chats about the car with him and yes it was a very difficult process, to make the car looked right with few available parts at the time. (pic 3-4) . A few years later, the car was eventually sold to someone. The new owner then repainted the car candy red, put some big 19” Bersaglio wheels, installed the original front-rear bumpers, re-work the body, retrimmed interior, full audio mods, and still rocking the stock engine and bus tail-lights lol. It was then put for sale, at around Rp3xx mio if I remember correctly (this was back in 2010-2011 I think?), quite expensive but it’s also quite a rare car indeed with some hefty work done to it. (Pic 5-7) . Long story short, the car was sold to more people over the years and finally ended up with @team_paradigm . Who then restored the car by giving it a new red paint job, SEV Marchal yellow headlights, SSR Watanabe RS-8 wheels, Fairlady Z hood mirrors, stock taillights, rework the cables, and last but not least: a friggin’ RB26DETT! Sounds awesome, looks awesome, and it’s helluva neckbreaker with that left hand drive steering (pic 1-2) . .
