Y’all have heard me talk about the major anxiety I had all through pregnancy (after having 4 miscarriages, I struggled with the fear of losing another baby almost daily), and while I hoped and believed that anxiety would magically disappear after the baby arrived, it didn’t. . When we live in a state of stress and anxious feelings for a prolonged period of time, it affects the chemistry in the brain. I still struggle with feelings of panic and anxiousness, and I know that this is so common for many people. . I love having my oils on hand when I’m out and about, because that feeling can sneak up so quickly! When I start to feel anxious, I grab my copaiba softgels (I keep some in a roller in my bag) and my {liquid calm} blend. I take two softgels and roll the calming blend on my pulse points and my chest and close my eyes for a minute to let it sink in. . There are some days I’m glad I have oils. . Then there are days I can’t imagine life without them. . This weekend was one of those times when I don’t even know what I would have done without this support on hand. . My 8yo suddenly complains of urinary tract discomfort at 9pm on Saturday night. Oils to the rescue! Got the discomfort under control and she’s feeling almost completely better today (if her pain didn’t subside I definitely would have taken her in and sought professional medical care). Here’s what I used: • 1 drop each of lemongrass, turmeric, and frankincense in coconut oil on her abdomen every hour for the first 5 hours, then three times the next day. • On Guard Touch on her feet every hour for the first 5 hours • Zendocrine softgel once a day along with Mannose D and lemon in her water. . Accidentally hit my 6yo’s nose on some furniture. Used lavender + Rescuer + ice and she was smiling again in just a short time afterward, and there was no swelling or bruising. . 8yo sliced her finger on a razor in my shower on Sunday night. Owie spray helped gently cleanse and keep bleeding to a minimum. Can barely tell where it happened today. . Balance + copaiba for me because this mama needs some stress relief after all this. . I also used Deep Blue on my back and shoulders after shoveling 320lbs of soil for our garden beds. Absolutely no pain the next day! . Y’all these oils give me life! Seriously. Yesterday I killed a mosquito in my bathroom. I am so so so so excited that spring is here, but definitely not looking forward to those pests! Super thankful I have this amazing roller on hand at all times when the weather warms up just in case we have an encounter with those bugs that bite. . This roller is super simple to make and works so fast to take out the itch! Simple add equal drops (start with 2-3 each) to a 10ml roller and fill the rest with FCO or your fave carrier oil. .
