This is our embryo. The moment I saw this picture of our #embaby I was taken aback and overwhelmed by how incredibly beautiful it is. During #2weekwait between the embryo transfer and the pregnancy test you earn a new title: #PUPO “pregnant until proven otherwise.” I am amazed at how connected I can feel to a photograph of an embryo. This is our 4th embryo transfer and it happens to me every time. I look at the collection of cells and think what a beautiful miracle it is. Even the two that didn’t survive. No AF yet, but based on late ovulation my fertility friend chart pushed back my expected CD1..... to June 14th..... my birthday. I don't know how to think or feel at the moment, but getting my period on my birthday would be so crappy. Not to mention it would also be my official ttc anniversary since we started trying on my birthday last year. On the other hand if I finally get my BFP this would be the best birthday present ever! It’s official we are PUPO! (pregnant until proven otherwise)We are so happy to have met our little embaby! What a surreal experience today was! This whole process still blows my mind. I will always be so eternally grateful to everything that goes into IVF. The transfer went very smoothly. We checked in around 2:15pm and the little babe was implanted 3:33pm. We are both glowing with joy! ⁣ ⁣ Now, we impatiently wait for 2 weeks We still have a long way to go and are lucky to have had this opportunity, so today we celebrate what we pray will be a successful embryo transfer! ⁣ ⁣ Grateful for the folks at NCCRM for the first picture of our embaby, we even got to keep the petri dish our baby was growing in ....my heart is so full! I can’t believe all the ups and downs of the last 3 months have lead up to this day, this perfect, beautiful day. ⁣ ⁣ Now, this little embaby and I are going to relax, get waited on hand and foot by the hubby and watch hallmark movies for the next 48 hours! Trying so hard to be patient but really struggling to keep my mind off the #twoweekwait this cycle Tested this morning even though I'm only 8DPO and of course it was negative... just because some other women have gotten their BFP that early doesn't mean I'm any more likely to get mine early, but I can hope right? Part of my issue is my job isn't exactly very intellectual... I work in a factory and my mind can wander while I work. I need something else to try to think about!
