We have spent a week re-programming Margot’s talker and are attempting to re-commit to modeling AAC at home.

We still like the TouchChat app for the ease of customization it offers, though I know many prefer more robust apps. For Margot we really want a lot of control over layout, navigation, voices, images, colors, volume, etc.

This sequence of pictures starts with the front page and as you scroll you can see the 7 other main pages (“Hello” doesn’t navigate anywhere because it makes more sense to repeat it than to have to back out), and actually the “Toys” page also navigates to a sub-page with animal sounds she can hit and hear the sound.
