TCA CROSS is the chemical reconstruction of skin scars (CROSS) using trichloroacetic acid (TCA). The TCA CROSS procedure involves depositing small amounts of TCA at high concentration into icepick or rolling scars. In the video you’ll see the scars begin to “frost” or turn white, this causes a local inflammatory reaction leading to the formation of new collagen fibres! The aim is to improve the appearance of the scar by allowing the scar to fill in, decreasing the shadow reflectance, and leave a nice smooth appearance! Yes I eat better and take the proper vitamins which has helped my acne subside but as for topical treatments, micro needling is my favorite procedure in the two decades of dealing with acne.
