Quieting my handstand... for myself, for my partner, for so many reasons. And playing with one-armed things.
Not my most quiet handstand of the day, but definitely one of the more challenging skills. Feet together one arm without a lot of other movement feels magical.
I love that word. QUIET. Slowing down, being still, softening.
That’s what I was working on today. I had so many epiphanies about my handstand game during this three hour session in the spiritual playground.
Yes, I even got a rip on my hand. Which I am proud of, because it shows my dedication. And simultaneously represents the fact that I will not, and do not, give up easily.
There are no shortcuts in acrobatics... or in most things worth doing.
You have to put in the hours, the training, be intentional, and be willing to break down the movement like a mad scientist. .
The good news is... I live for this kind of thing!
