There is the common misconception that when it comes to exercise, more intense is ALWAYS BETTER.
.
Somewhere down the line, we’ve been convinced that if the workout isn’t punishing, exhausting, and exceedingly challenging, it isn’t worth doing and it can’t be effective in helping you reach your fitness goals.
.
Yoga isn’t enough - it has to be a hot power class. Resting between sets is a waste of time - you’ve gotta strong all your exercises together and make it HIIT. It’s not enough to just go for a run you also have to wear a heart rate monitor to track all your stats and make sure you are burning as many calories as possible
.
But I call bullshit on all of this. This type of thinking is rooted in the diet culture belief that exercise is only for the purpose of weight loss (it’s not) and the completely false notion that doing more of something will always create a more desirable outcome.
.
Here is your reminder that there is HUGE value in low to moderate intensity exercise. This is especially true if you are dealing with burnout or adrenal fatigue. In these cases high intensity exercises may actually WORSE for health. Remember, over-exercising is a thing and when it becomes too much, exercise becomes just another stressor.
.
So take it easy. You don’t have to do the most. You can walk instead of run. You can rest between sets. You can take a gentle yoga class. You can leave the fitness trackers at home and just enjoy the workout for what it is.

#1 The “adrenal fatigue” myth- .
Yes Fatigue can be from hormone imbalance. No you do not need 100+ supplements to support your adrenals to fix adrenal fatigue.

But in short your hormones are a very interconnected highway where the adrenals are connected to the hypothalamus, pituitary gland,thyroid, ovaries/testes, etc — “Fatigue” “low energy” “Weight gain” “cravings” can be an imbalance anywhere on that highway. Thinking that adrenal fatigue is a singular diagnosis and then trying to treat it with tons of supplements is just maddening

You cannot alter that balance in fact you **do not** want to alter that balance. pH imbalance leads to death. Продолжаем про усталость надпочечников... 3 стадия - стадия истощения.
Если стресс продолжает действовать, АКТГ растет и подстегивает надпочечники к работе, но их ресурсы постепенно истощаются
Кортизол⬇, ДГЭА⬇, появляются симптомы⬇ альдостерона, прогестерон⬇, прегненолон ⬇
3 стадия подразделяется на 4 подстадии: А, В, С и Д
3А: умеренная усталость постоянна, симптомы ПМС у женщин, может быть снижена функция щитовидной железы. Отдых не приводит к полному восстановлению. Работоспособность 75-100 % от полной.
3В: Постоянная усталость. Работоспособность 50-75 % от полной. Физическая нагрузка дается с трудом.
Развивается дисбаланс гонадо-надпочечниково-щитовидной оси. У женщин появляются сбои менструального цикла, симптомы эстрогендоминирования (миомы матки, эндометриоз, фиброзно-кистозная мастопатия и т.д ). Возникает гипотиреоз (сухость кожи, запоры, сонливость, отечность и т.д). Снижено либидо.
М.б. симптомы гипогликемии.
3С: Сильная усталость. Работоспособность 25-50% от полноценной.
Требуется много отдыха. Сон может быть нарушен.
На этой стадии к вышеперечисленному подключается вегетативная нервная система: учащенное сердцебиение, нестабильное артериальное давление, головокружение, сахарный дисбаланс, появляются неконтролируемые реакции на раздражитель (и да, вы не псих). Здесь часто развиваются панические атаки, тревога и ощущение надвигающейся гибели
Из-за дефицита альдостерона снижается натрий крови ➡ снижается АД, повышается пульс, появляется тяга к солнечным продуктам. В общем, все очень печально
3Д - состояние крайне низкой энергии. Большую часть времени человек проводит в кровати. Повседневные дела становятся невозможны.
4 стадия - отказ⛔
Надпочечники настолько истощены, что вырабатывают лишь минимальное количество гормонов.
Усталость экстремальная. Потеря веса, слабость мышц, тошнота, рвота, гипогликемия, головные боли, потливость, обезвоживание, нерегулярный менструальный цикл, ацидоз. Тело потеряло баланс.
Здесь уже нужно дифференцировать надпочечниковую усталость и классическую недостаточность надпочечников (болезнь Аддисона и др. причины)
