Meet Enyo! Enyo is an Ewe name, meaning God is Good. The Ewe tribe is said to be around 10% of the Ghanaian people, originating in Volta region (south-eastern) and Togo.
So this is Enyo; Ewe parents choose names that reflects the spirituality of the parents or the circumstances of the child’s birth. Enyo is the rock in her family, always calm and friendly; perhaps an attribute she got from her Ewe origin. Ewe people has a strong connection with their families and they remain close throughout their lives.
There are many different tribes in Ghana, with different stories and cultures. Ewe people are recognised for their music and dancing, and they love to throw parties. Also something that resemble Enyo; she always loved music and dancing and would do dance performances at every family gathering as a kid.
Travelling in Ghana we definitely believe you should take some time to learn about the different tribes and cultures. Even though we don’t notice the differences as much today (at least in Accra) apart from languages, it’s an interesting history to know of. .

“..Life begins at the end of our comfort zone and outside of our comfort zone is where the magic happens. Yes, it won’t be easy the first time but it is always good to learn something new. Yes, it might be a little bit scary but you will make it. Be free and step out of your routine, explore your energy, meet new people, learn something new and challenge yourself.“
