The (rear-mid) engine is also closely derivated from the race car ✨, it's a 2.0 V8 (78mm x 52.2mm), DOHC Spica injected, dry sumped, double spark, all alloy, producing 240 hp at 8,800 rpm, able to rev up to 10,000 rpm. To sum it up, it performs like a late 80's supercar on paper, probably much better on track. If anyone out there owns a 33 Stradale & is ready to let me take it to the track to prove that... I just realized that person doesn't exist. If you do though, hit me up. I have heard so many people saying that the first ever supercar is the F40, or even the Miura. Well, since the Miura came out the same year as the 33, there is a debate. Both very new design wise, both mid-engined, both staggering fast. But the Alfa Romeo is more refined, technically much more advanced, & a lot faster too. And objectively more beautiful. Even though everybody knows what a Miura is, not everyone knows what the 33 is. So it seems to me that the 33 is the first real supercar. So now you know more or less what the 33 is all about, & you want one, but no one is able to give you a price range ever. Guess what, I can. It's anywhere between 16 to 18M€ now (pretty much like a McLaren F1), & I have seen its value shooting up for the last few years, hurry up. I'm always asked by non-car people around me "what is your favorite car ever? I mean the one car you would live with for the rest of your life?". As you know it is always a very difficult one to answer & gets annoying with time. Sometimes I say an F50 would do the trick, sometimes a 250 SWB (yes, alloy), sometimes a 206 Dino (yes, alloy), but I have decided to stop lying to myself, I want a 33 Stradale, this is my holly Graal ✨.
