One of my favorite players is Ali Krieger. When I went to my first NWSL games in 2014, I purposely picked my spot in the stands so that I could watch her play on the right side. Memorial let us get super close to the pitch and I had taken some of my first portraits then. When I got front row tickets to a group game in the last world cup, I picked the corner where I could watch her kick ass for a half. I have yet to capture the jumping first touch (og photogoal) but I got to capture quite a bit on Sunday. I always like to talk about players that inspired me to pick up a camera and look at the game differently. My love for photographing defense, both backline organization and wing battles, starts with Krieger. And so I finally decided to make something just so I could say all of this in a caption. Swipe and enjoy!
P. S. I realized this morning I forgot to label the signature bun smh
