Its a long drive crossing central Alaska, so when traffic gets heavy with caribou the best thing to do is pull over and enjoy the company. These three were following a group of about 100 that had just passed before them and I was lamenting not having my camera in time. After digging it out and sitting quietly pulled over, these three strolled up the road without a care in the world to give me a second chance video. Afterwards they disappeared quickly into the wilderness to rejoin the heard, as straying too far can be very dangerous for them. Two days ago Lovey the Moose disappeared and I have not seen her since. I will be sure to post of her condition after learning anything new. Have a great week!
