A simple technique to open up the lymphatic nodes along jawline, beneficial for acne/inflamed congestion. For breakouts or inflammation, don’t work directly over/top of them. Work under in order to drain, after neck is opened. . . . There are lymphatic nodes under jawline and both lymph and energy can pool there. This is also the Kapha area of the face. Kapha governs the lymph and it is easy for that area to become stagnant without movement. . . . Open the neck back to front, a light firm and rhythmic pressure and open junction along collar bone and neck too. There are a variety of great techniques for the neck, so important. . . . . Next I use the teeth with a firm, sweeping movement to move the tissue. Light and rhythmic is important in creating movement of lymph. You can notice the way my skin is moving on my face from the movements around the jawline. That movement is beneficial as it is assisting lymphatic movement without touching the skin in that area. I love that. If inflammation is where I am working, use tool lower. . . . .
