I’m so happy that I finished this giant tiger(30”x40” on canvas) It was taking a long time to do every detail. My butt and lower back got so tired every time I sat too long.. loll finally, I can share it with you guys! Thanks for following and supporting, if y’all like my artwork please share wherever you want #tiger #tigerlovers #realisticpainting #tigerpainting #artworks #artgallery #animalartist #animalartistry
Well, I have hit the half way point on this piece and even though it's big, 18" x 24", there are so many elements included, that it really has been interesting the whole time. I've certainly learned a lot about focal changes & the 3 fields of vision here. And the hounds have been to fun to get to know as I move further on. In progress, 30x40 , 80x102mm acrylic. I still need to work on the details and background but it’s coming along nicely! I started a pastel, but the client wanted a big painting! This wonderful doberman was a champion and was killed by a horse he wanted to play with. This occurred at a family party, you can just imagine how destroyed the family was, the paddock was left open by accident. It’s been a very busy few weeks with not much time for being creative so this morning I really wanted to just paint! so I dug our and dusted off my acrylic paints and got out this huge canvas that’s been waiting along time to be painted and got stuck in! I have been looking back at my old paintings and remembering how I started out with just one off acrylic canvas pieces! So I wanted to challenge myself to do one but using all my new styles and techniques learnt from my watercolour painting! Time has just flown by and I have so loved working on this! I have been swooning over the highlands at all of the country shows so I just had to paint another one! I would love to know what you think of her! #highland #highlandcattle #acrylicpainting #animalartistry #animalart #animlartist #artinthepen #countryliving
