Happy Beltane! I am doing one of the #AprilFoolsJourney extra credit prompts in May...because I’m feeling rebellious I guess! The archetype that I most need to work with in order to facilitate balance...the High Priestess! ✨ This makes sense as I have been intentionally working on creating some much needed space in my life for personal reflection before I enter the next phase. This card represents a quintessential process of turning inward. I’ve been saying No a lot more lately and starting to feel more comfortable with that on an inner level. I also see in this card, the archetype of the Goddess I’ve been working with so strongly as of late. More integration of the darkly divine feminine, ownership of my powers and my personal space. Makes a lot of sense! ✨ #cosmictarot #highpriestess

Happy Friday Let’s play!! Your May monthly creativity tarotscopes are up! The coming month is powerful for all of us — a continuation of the depth and transformation themes of April, because we never wrap this stuff up as quickly or neatly as we plan to, eh? However, I’m enjoying some self-granted permission to make a mess of life right now, and if it resonates, I encourage you to do the same! Intuitively, we know that the best and truest creative work often happens by accident, and the most satisfying life situations are usually the result of fate nudging us out of our nest. This is a highly transitional time for so many of us. Some of these days I’ve been dancing it out, some days I’m crying it out After April, I’ve felt as if I’ve taken a quantum leap (and it isn’t even over!). There’s been significant frustrations, feeling wronged mixed in with intense ripples of gratitude for everything that is shaping my future. All of this has resulted in high productivity coupled with some degree of restlessness. But that’s sometimes a very creative state So...How are you feeling?

#aprilfoolsjourney prompt: Which archetype do I most want to INVOKE at this time? The Sun! I chose this one consciously due to the fact that it is my shadow card (it appears in the numerological pairing of my Magician soul, card 1, along with the Wheel card, 10. The Sun is card 19, and 1+9=10, 1+0=1) I also want to invoke the Sun energy because it’s soothing, warming, and confidence-building. The Sun is a card that keeps things simple, but isn’t afraid to ask for what it needs. The Sun keeps it real! I love the way the Ethereal Visions Tarot depicts the Sun, held in the arms of a goddess. I remember the first time I ever spoke with someone who worshipped the sun. Being from a (sort of) Christian background, I didn’t know at the time that almost all of the religious symbolism I grew up with was astrological in its basis. Early in my teens, I met someone who spoke to me about watching the sun rise, that it was a religious experience. According to this individual, the sun and the moon were the main deities of the past, particularly for agricultural societies because people felt how literally dependent they were on those astrological phenomenon for survival. I hadn’t known! How could I have missed that memo? Looking back, I think of how silly it was that I was so removed from my heritage and the heritage of human belief and philosophy. The Sun was no God to me; God was (at least in theory) housed in a chapel, could speak through the pastor, and was always short on cash Obviously something about that conversation stuck with me. It just felt TRUE. That seemingly innocuous conversation—probably long forgotten by the speaker—brought vivid, juicy COLORS to the gray, stiff, cardboard-cut-out concepts I had of reality, life, and religion at the time. Something came to life. A seed was planted which I think has evolved over time into a full-blown obsession with the complexity of the Universe. And with the interweaving energetic patterns that can be read by the savvy astrologer, shaman, or diviner. I am obsessed with obscure interconnections (possibly to a fault), but it all started with the Sun and the Moon! And it will probably end with them, too

"Your own self-realization is the greatest service you can render the world." - Ramana Maharshi Al Fin! The WORLD is the awesome culmination of the Fool's Journey, the experience of integration, completion, and synthesis. We experience World energy when we graduate from our life lessons, or sometimes when we literally graduate from something like school or training. The World represents the energy of outreach, expansion, and reward. We blossom into Who We We're Meant To Be, and a celebration often ensues. ✨ The World archetype is a kind of homecoming to wholeness in which we realize how much we've grown and become self-actualized. At this point, the Fool has traversed the many challenges and roadblocks, jumped hurdles, and persisted on his growth path to individuation. This is truly the blossoming point of consciousness! ✨ Day 22 Integration of my past and present lessons will look like...STRENGTH! Could not have bought myself a better card if it was on sale at Tarot Systems Incorporated The woman on this card from the Fountain Tarot is perched lovingly behind the head of an enormous lion, who looks quite chiefly in this rendition. Integration of my lessons looks like a strong and stoked inner fire, staying calm despite any heavy workloads or pressurizing outside influences. Speaking my truth, gently and yet loud enough and clear enough to be heard. I integrate my lessons by being in harmony with my physical body. Not forgetting that I too am a mere animal on this sparkly blue planet, and though I am but a small part, I have a genuine role to play in its wild theater. By existing, and allowing that to be all the proof I need to know I’m worthy.

"As far as we know, the purpose of human existence is to kindle a light of meaning in the darkness of mere being.” - Carl Jung✨ As the 20th card in the numbered Major Arcana, JUDGEMENT comes when we're nearing the completion point. As a multiple of 10, this card shows an energy of tying up loose ends, sealing off another cycle, and answering a final calling. The Angel on this card shakes the people from a slumber in their coffins - an apt description of a spiritual awakening. The Angel calls us to transcend mere mundanity and to rise to fulfill our highest purpose. This is where our intentions must be certain, our resolve concrete, and our personal alignment, centered. During a Judgement experience, we are often called to face our worst fears while relying on all the skills, strengths, and qualities we've refined in ourselves on this long Fool's Journey. It is often our defining moment of truth which cements into our souls all of our growth and lessons up to this point. What is the ultimate purpose, what’s it all been about? ✨ Day 21✨ What can I know about my purpose at this time in my life? 4 OF WANDS To be happy...to spread joy...to perpetually be finding my center, enjoying my balance, and celebrating the journey rather than obsessing over the destination

"It's never too late to have a happy childhood." - Tom Robbins✨ ☀️ The SUN card is the archetype of consciousness, the Self, Source energy, magnetism, charisma, action, and power. Under the influence of Sun energy, we S H I N E and we have fun doing it! Our inner child comes out to play and that joy we feel is infectious! Others notice and appreciate the energy we bring to our projects. We communicate enthusiastically, are willing to be vulnerable and honest, and the need to hide anything dissolves. The Sun is an archetype of well-being and fortitude. It's best to utilize it when we have it, taking full advantage of our energy and good fortune, and afterward, conduct rituals of gratitude to the Universe for the positive flow in our lives. How can you make the most of your inner light? Day 20 Where do I need to let go and SHINE? Cheetah This makes a lot of sense to me right now. Life has been moving quickly (which is why I’m late to my own challenge tonight!). But I’m finding, surprisingly, that I do shine well when I am forced to be spontaneous and off-the-cuff. I am realizing that I do in fact know what to say and how to respond to the curveballs life throws at me, especially when I don’t have time to stop and stew over everything, or overthink it. When I’m forced to think on my feet, something much better usually happens. So, with Cheetah here, I guess I have to rely on the electric, perplexing force of my natal Mars in Gemini. I need to let go and shine throughout this period of high stakes and momentum

Happy Libra full moon! ♎️ “There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the Moon howls." George Carlin✨ Mystery, enchantment, magic, cycles, and secrets, oh my! The MOON is all things strange and inexplicable. For example, the fact that we happen to be exploring the archetype of the Moon card on this influential full moon...it’s all so moon-y The imagination, dream world, creativity, and shadow realms are ruled by the Moon card. From the depths of the Moon energy (the collective unconscious) amazing ideas, creations, and advancements come forth. However, under moonlight, all is not necessarily what it seems. Illusions, fantasy, or confusion and sheer strangeness may cloud our vision if we're not careful. The moon also rules natural rhythm, fertility, our shadow, and our physical Moon is actually the cause of our season changes on Earth due to its gravitational effect on Earth's axis. Without the Moon, we could not have life on Earth, and yet, its literal existence is perplexing and seems to defy logic and physics, prompting scientific speculation about whether or not it is truly an organic object or proof of some sort of intentional creation. So, it's fitting that the Moon card, in Tarot, represents the essential mysteries of the collective, dreamy unconscious. ✨ Day 19✨ What is my unconscious trying to tell me? The Tower Well, this is spooky! On our Tower prompt day, I shared on YouTube about my astral travel experience and how I feel my inner world is manifesting a lot of change right now. I feel this card is telling me that my world is opening up. My throat and voice felt so open today. The Tower is associated with the Hebrew letter Pé which means “mouth.” It’s no coincidence that the changes I’ve been going through have made me more expressive and vocal. There is so much more I could go into with this, but I think I’ll leave it there. My unconscious is a vocal volcano right now!
