GAY SYSTEM #armchairthai
That is probably is not shocking for those who read me in English, you are quite tolerate, I’m sure♀️
⠀
Anyway, Thailand introduce LGBT Education in Thai School System, starting at First Grade (from next semester). I’m proud of Thais!
⠀
What they will do?⬇️
⠀
Tell about different partner preferences, that people can love the same gender and its okay.
Show different types of families. It can be Mom and Dad, Just mom, Just dad or even 2 Moms or 2 Dads.
Explain, that we don’t choose who we are born.
⠀
Why do we need that at schools?⬇️
⠀
✔The same reason we need sex education. Kids should learn that before they go to adult life
✔Your kid won’t be alone, when he realised that he is gay.
✔Gays and transgenders will stop being bullied.
✔The understanding of your sex preferences during teenage years (hormones craziness) won’t make a kid commit a suicide.
⠀
We need that, as much as we need to stop judging by the race or nationality❤
⠀
⁉️What do you think about it? Would you let your kid visit sex education classes?
The end.
WHAT IS YOUR HIERARCHY? #armchairthai
Although we all live in 21st century, world is still divided on casts, races and levels. Thailand is not an exemption
⠀
When I had my interview for teaching job, there were one more lady (chocolate one). Even though her English is way better, than mine, I got the job. Because I'm white (not really)
⠀
Other thing, which happened also at school⬇️
Some old thai teachers NEVER said hello or good morning back to foreigners. They just ignored. I'm not sure why, maybe I needed to bow
⠀
Not only people have hierarchy in Thailand, but..body parts
⠀
Feet are the dirtiest, so never put your feet close to Thais
Head is opposite, it's saint part. Thais believe in the spirit Khvan, which lives in heads and it's like an angel
⠀
Hair is a very respectful part too. I saw few times how hair master said sorry TO THE HAIR! and even did wai(bow)!
⠀
Hierarchy between people is also common. For example when you pass a monk, your head should be lower, than his.
⠀
⁉️Do you divide people in some groups? I do⬇️
1. My people(soulmates) and others
2. Shallow and deep people.
The end
THAI GOD #armchairthai
Probably I will make it as a tradition to write about great people time to time
⠀
People, who have never been in Thailand, have no clue, who is Bhumibol Adulyadej or Rama IX. He was the leader, respected and loved by HIS PEOPLE. I have never heard about any country leader, who would have so much respect like him.
⠀
Could you just imagine, how many generations changed, during his rule. 70 years is more than a life
⠀
Why do Thais loved (and still do) him so much?⬇️
⠀
✔Talent. He was a painter, a photographer, an amazing saxophonist and great sportsman.
⠀
✔Creator. He was granted a patent for inventing an innovative aerator that could be used to effectively treat wastewater. He also launched the production of bio-diesel as a way of reducing dependence on imported energy.
⠀
✔Piece. His Majesty stopped farmers from growing opium in the north of Thailand and gave them the option to improve agriculture.
⠀
✔As for my humble opinion, the Best of Rama IX is that he proved his words and stood by them. All promises had been given 70 years ago he made come true. He has never left Thailand, moreover, visited all the sacred places in the country.
⠀
The most important thing for a leader is to be honest with his people❤
⠀
I hope, that one day, my country (Russia) will have a leader, who will be loved by people
The end.

WHY IS IT SO MANY TRANSGENDERS IN THAILAND? #armchairthai
.
That's the question I hate. Anyway, I'm going to talk about it⬇️
.
Transgenders are everywhere, but they are more opened in Asia. Thailand hasn't been so tolerant before, they accept it just recently. I think it's because of plastic surgeries.
Nowadays it's really difficult to recognize ladyboy. They can change completely, and have THERE what girls/boys should have.
.
So, why is the attitude is so different, depends on a country?
.
✔Asians are more tolerant, because they think about the 3rd gender through religion. Europeans think through anatomy.
.
✔Also most of Asian religions include the 3rd gender, which considers as "between man and woman".
Buddhists dont care very much about gender, mostly about a soul.
✔Moreover, in India they have separate group of people (3rd gender) and Indians believe that those are special. They invite transgenders on their wedding for blessing.
.
I'm very glad that Europe became more tolerant, I wish Russia can be that one day.
.
⁉️What do you think about transgenders? Please, be polite, I hate racists, homophobs and stuff like that.
The end.
TOUR GUIDES WON'T TELL YOU THAT #armchairthai
Some of the things and places tourists will never know. Thailand has it's own secrets too♀️
But I'm not greedy, I'll share it with you, guys⬇️
.
If you have any pigmentation after crazy thai sun, just use whitening cream and they will disappear
7/11 gives you stickers, after you bought smth. Dont throw it, its money and you can pay those stickers there
Before you rent anything like car, bike or condo, make a FULL video of it. Otherwise you will never see your deposit back♀️
Sizzler, Swensens and pizza company have colouring books. So, if you want to eat in quiet atmosphere or just shut your kid up for an hour, you should choose one of those
If you want to save some money, buy a plane ticket without baggage, and send your baggage by a post. That's cheaper
My mom always buy LOADS of thai cosmetics, and use it as little presents (for small celebrations) all year round, which saves your budget a lot
Don't go to beach on wednesdays, that's a clean day, and there are NO sunbeds and umbrellas
.
⁉️Was it helpful? Shall I continue

APOCALYPSE IS COMING..#armchairthai
.
I'm waiting for the next week with the feeling of fear, because.. New year is coming
Thai New year
Do you know that there is 2562 year in Thailand? Well, now you do
.
Buddhists count years from the moment when Buddha got Nirvana, which happened 543 years before Jesus had been born. 2019+543=2562. Life in Thailand is a math♀️
.
So, since 13th of April chaos will be in the country Thai new year (called Songkran) is the longest new year celebration ever. Each province celebrate it on a different day. Pattaya is on 19th of April, but they don't really care and they are celebrating the whole week!
.
What is actually happening? People are spraying water (water guns) and use the talk or some kind of power and put it on people's faces. It means that you are clean (literally and metaphorically).
.
I'm kind of scared of this, so every year I try to escape from the country. Last year I went to Russia, this year we are going to Malaysia. Anyway, we always participate one official day celebrating, what we are going to do again on 19th.
.
⁉️Have you heard about Songkran? Or maybe participate that also? Did you like it?
The end.
PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT like candles. Some of the candles are for light, some for butt #armchairthai
.
Sometimes I am telling you how bad Russians are, however not all of them are butt candles♀️
.
Let’s leave Russians alone and talk about Thais
.
Basically, I love them.
Except landlords❗ Its kind of special category of people in Thailand, which is for making your life a hell.
I have no idea what is that tendency for landlords, but most of them are really annoying people.
I have changed 3 condos and 2 houses, so I'm experienced
.
Although, my current landlady is a wonderful woman❤
.
She always solves every problem and helps us. Moreover, she is such a nice person!
.
Where did this magic woman come from She is definitely from another planet!
.
✔Helps if smth breaks
✔Once I forgot to switch off my hair straightener and she came and did it for me.
✔She pays and arrange some guy who cuts our grass (even though we forget about it)
✔She gives us a present on big celebrations, like new year
✔She feeds our dogs when we are away (from her hands!)
✔She is just a very sweet lady, who does everything with all her heart.
.
Why am I telling you about her? I think PEOPLE like her, deserves to be known, whoever they are.
.
⁉️Have you met nice people like that? Who just helps you with all heart?
The end.
ABOUT MY LIVE TODAY #armchairthai
I'm planning to make a live video, but I will speak Russian, because speak 2 languages at the same time is quite hard
.
If you are interested in that, let me know, I will make an English version♀️
So, what am I going to discuss today.⬇️
.
1. Why is it better to travel without a tour package
2. What can you bring IN Thailand and what is forbidden
3. Traveller's baggage (medicine and stuff like that)
4. How much will your trip to Thailand cost
5. Where should you go and how to organise your trip
6. What should you buy in Thailand (and take home)
7. HOW to pack fruits, what can you take with you (new immigration rules)
.
Something like that.
If you are curious and want to know about it, just ask me in comments, don't be shy
The end.
