Week 8 arm lift update Overall I’m so very very happy My scar therapist said my arm scars will need longer treatment than all my other scars, but they are healing well. I still have swelling. My right arm is bigger than my left, unsure if this is because of swelling at this stage. Won’t know til the 6 month mark. My left arm still has numbness and tingling from some nerve damage but it seems to be improving. And as a bonus I don’t have underarm hairs anymore! 3 months post op arm lift. Everything looks great. I still have some swelling at the end of the day, but most of it’s gone. I’m still sleeping in my compression garment, not because I have to, it just feels good to put it on after a long day. I also have some hypertrophic scarring near my elbow- it just looks wider than the rest of the scar and it feels weird some times. I bought some silicone strips but I haven’t used them yet- I heard that’s supposed to help minimize scarring. Ummmm what Such a difference!!!!! Day 8 post op. Arms are very swollen so can only get better from here as swelling decreases. I’ve been having a great recovery so far. Out of everything my left arm is the only thing bugging me a bit with nerve pain and numbness but when I look at this result I am not going to complain. When I first started thinking about getting #excessskinremoval it was all because of these arms. I wanted to be able to wear sleeveless tops and dresses and that just was not going to ever happen with those #tuckshopladyarms !!!
