When we decided to return to #HongKong, we were so excited! Why? Because Hong Kong is one of those cities you never stop discovering . With breathtaking national parks, Chinese culture, influenced by years of British colonial rule. Hong Kong has a unique and enduring characteristic like no other place in Asia . Even the shopfronts are captivating at every turn on every corner. Just walking the streets and looking up all around will leave you whispering ‘wowww’ under your breath . Who wants us to write a blog on places we visited in HK? . . . . . . .

Our challenge to you is to do something new this month! Try a new food, visit a new restaurant, spend your day exploring a new town or check out a local art exhibition. That’s exactly what we did when @kaws came into town for @artcentralhk . It’s amazing how being open to new things can stimulate creativity and allow you to get to know yourself better . Even just a 15min walk from where we were staying in Tsim Sha Tsui with @livethenate, brought us down to #VictoriaHarbour and we found a cute viewpoint of the Hong Kong Island . “Curtain Call” by @timokamura  Tim Okamura investigates identity, the urban environment, metaphor, and cultural iconography through a unique method of painting – one that combines an essentially ‘realist’ approach to the figure with collage, spray paint and mixed media. The juxtaposition of the rawness and urgency of street art and academic ideals has created a visual language that acknowledges a traditional form of story-telling through portraiture, while infusing the work with resonant contemporary motifs.
