The contrast between those who are clinging onto their 3D reality versus those who are ascending into a 5D way of being has been made abundantly clear to me this week.⠀

To be fair, I spent most of my life in the former camp completely oblivious to the wonders that exist beyond a 3D reality too. ⠀
⠀
When we begin to shift, up level and ascend it challenges others - especially those closest to us.
Often they feel frightened that they’ll lose you so they’ll try to sabotage your progress overtly or covertly.
People who are deeply entrenched within a lower vibrational reality will also be triggered and threatened by your growth, discoveries and expansion.
⠀
They will often reject your new discoveries because it challenges the very foundations that their reality is built upon. If they were to open their minds to the possibility of something more, something different to what they’ve always known, then they may have to consider that their life has been and still is, an illusion. ⠀
⠀
When you encounter people trying to knock you down and make you doubt yourself or stop you from evolving, just know that your growth and your light is triggering them. It’s shining a very bright light upon their own fears and limitations and because they’re externally focussed, they project their discomfort onto you.

You know what the truth is and you don’t need anyone else’s permission, blessing or validation to walk your path. Keep your head held high and looking forward beautiful Soul and I’ll see you at the top!⠀

A lot of suffering in our relationships comes from the unhealed inner child.

To deal with our suffering as children, we often find ways to distance from it. We do this by learning to have busy minds and bodies, being “numb” to it all, or feeding into addictive behaviors that distract like watching too much tv, using drugs, or alcohol.
.
As adults, the wounds of our inner child still exist, we’ve just found creative ways to shut them up. Or so we think.
.
Beginning to heal yourself is to recognize the traumas of childhood and what that experience might have been like for your smaller self. Were you neglected? Abused? Made fun of? Rejected? Afraid? Abandoned? Ignored? Made to be an adult at too young of an age? Did you lose someone important to you? Were you sick? Did you feel insecure and worried about your family? Was their chaos your chaos? Were people yelling around you? Or perhaps, people didn’t even have the energy to yell. Maybe you grew up in a quiet and lonely depressed home.

Has your inner child been wounded because your race, sexuality, body type, or religion were not accepted by the people around you?
.
To heal, you need to recognize how you were wounded. Just like every wounded child deserves.
.
Then you need to embrace the feelings that come with this. Perhaps it makes you sad, angry, or confused.
.
Finally, you soothe your inner child. You do this by allowing yourself to focus on and sit with the emotion. You breathe through it. You gently allow the expression of the emotion.
.
Imagine yourself as a good parent,
picking up a child that has fallen and is crying. A good parent does not tell the child to shut up. A good parent doesn’t run away from their suffering.
.
A good parent says “come here, I see you are hurting. I am sorry you are hurting. I will just sit here and hold you and rock you until you are okay again.”
.
Do this for yourself.
