The grinning lil face of a gal who has had the privilege of teaching her own dance class twice this week. Thank you for trusting me with your time and energy. I’m happy happy happy I’ve conquered a lot of fears and started out down the path that I’m on. Last Friday @photographybymackk asked me what my intentions were for my work from that week and I responded, “I hope my work this week brings me my tribe and shows me that I don’t need to be afraid of being myself!” And every person I encountered this week was exactly that. It’s been about 6 years since I quit dance. For 11 years, that was my entire life. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss it. But the feeling of liberation, elegance and freedom of expression from my experience as a dancer will always translate into what ever else I continue to pursue in life.
