A post just popped up in my Facebook memories.. a post I made many years ago when I was working at a florist, thought I'd share- I met a little old man ill never forget today, he came and bought 2 bunches of pink tulips from me! He said "its the wife's birthday, 36 years and I've never forgotten to buy her the pink tulips" he then proceeded to tell me all about how she has the most beautiful eyes and he's never loved another like he does her! We spent the next 10mins just chatting about how great she is. Then Just before he went to leave he turned around and said "darlin i hope it's not a bother but can you cut a bit off the stems? They just don't make the vases on the grave stones as big as they used to in my day" I Still vividly remember this man and his his sad eyes.
