Last night I made a special presentation at Neiman Marcus Conclave. All the Precious Jewellery Managers from across the USA gather in Dallas to discover the finest on offer in the jewellery world. It is a very important event on our calendar and it is a great privilege to be asked to participate. The word conclave interests me - it comes from a Latin term meaning "room that can be locked up." Today, "conclave" refers not to locked rooms but to private meetings and secret assemblies that occur within them. Well, I must say that we were not locked in a room and what we were talking about was not exactly secret but the jewellery was certainly very secure! Arguably the finest strand of round Australian South Sea Pearls in the world with an extraordinary Tanzanite and Diamond detachable pendantif - of course with matching earrings.
