I can’t stress enough how important it is for all you body techs and up and coming body techs to learn how to work aluminum! Aluminum is here to stay and it will continue to become more and more common. Too many techs are just avoiding it because thats the easy route but if you do that you will fall behind! Become the tech that your shop brings all of the aluminum work to because all the other guys refuse to try to repair it. If you do that now I promise it will pay off later.

This Quarter panel repair is ready for 4 good coats of primer surfacer then it gets blocked with 320 grit and prepped out for paint.

So, I got myself another 122 this morning for some sheetmetal I needed. Will scrap the rest, if anybody need some parts... Repairing a rocker panel using keys. This one was getting a new quarter panel but I still had to repair the rocker panel in front on where the quarter was getting sectioned in at. Different manufacturers sell their panels in different ways. Some will sell entire the quarter as an entire uniside and others will only sell the quarter panel like in this particular situation.
