Spot the monkey . Our first stop in Colombia, outside the capital Bogotá, brought us to this amazing place on earth. It’s quite obvious why Cocora Valley near Salento is visited by so many people. . This breathtaking area of Colombia is surrounded by emerald green hills and dotted with the country’s national tree – the wax palm, which can grow up to 61 meters. . On very rare occasions, if you look very closely, you might even spot a monkey trying/failing to climb the palm trees.
