Mors Dag is Danish for Mother’s Day. I have numerous Royal Copenhagen Mors Dag plates that my Dad, who was of Danish descent, had bought for my Mom over the years. They were handed down to me and they are proudly displayed in my home. This particular plate has always been my favourite though because it has always reminded me of my most loved Dr. Seuss story, “Are You My Mother?”. It was the bedtime story I requested over and over and my Mom read it to my so many times that she knew it by heart. This Blueberry Pie is a tribute to my Mom who Passed away 28 years ago.
