Take your band workout up a notch by becoming the anchor point. Either traditionally or slightly more outside the band...

Here’s a collection of moves that I like in this concept. Some pulls, pushes, squats, hinges and core are all given more depth and richness (upgraded) when you provide the anchor for the band, particularly when it’s a floating anchor, meaning a free limb, or limbs. Go heavy for harder or lighter for easier. Bands offer great personalized workouts and fantastic portability and are a great tool to have and learn to use. Started and finished with some pseudo rope work, #weckmethodinfluenced and it was really cool. ▫️▫️▫️

✨Activation or glute medius exercises- lateral raises or clam shells!! Both fab used in your warmup or super setter with a heavier exercise (eg sumo deadlifts/barbell deadlift♀️)
✨Sumo KB dead’s- I find using a kb saves loads of time and helps me pull through my heels more! This is a 55kg KB too so deffo did the job
✨Banded hyperextensions- key with these is to NOT hyperextend ironically lol. I keep my upper back rounded to ensure I don’t go overextend and the band helps you utilise your upper glutes more!

RESISTANCE BAND LEG WORKOUT
Resistance bands are great for a slew of reasons -
.
✔️They act as a cable if you don’t have one
.
✔️You can take them anywhere
.
✔️They can be used as your workout, as an active rest day, or a great finisher for a little extra burn
.
Because there is no weight and just resistance, I like to keep reps on the higher side.
.
Perform 5 rounds of 25 reps of each exercise. Legs and glutes will be on fire!
.
