Recently I’ve posted a video about the guard less fading technique. I wanted to share another perspective of this since I’ve got so many questions on my last video. Two Important things: 1rst- Pay attention to my thumb when I’m blending the line #2 to 0. As I gently start going over my line to blend it, my thumb pushes on the lever so that the blades close as the movement narrows to focus on the line creating a smooth blend. 2- The way that I hold my clipper when I’m blending over the line with my hand and push my blades out towards me instead of pushing it into the head. That will help me reduce the mass of the hair as I go higher on the side of the head without pushing my fade to high. This is VERY important! The last thing you want is to go too short too high. Just imagine a straight line from the side up instead of following the roundness of the head. That technique will SAVE you time! It’s pretty easy to do and if you feel like the result isn’t perfect at first, just go over it with some guards once your done to even out the fade until you start getting familiar with guardless fading, nothing wrong with that!
