One of the original Barbican sinks and porthole light fixtures. Did you know we have our own salvage yard at the Barbican? If we do any upgrades or refurbs, we’re obliged to donate old sinks, switches, doors and kitchen units to it for other residents to use. The store is located under Andrewes House and is run by volunteers - sadly it’s strictly for residents only. We’re told these sinks are back in production though, in case you’re interested :)
FUTURE YOU #madewithunity
I had the great pleasure of working with @universaleverything and @chrismullany on this interactive installation that offers a reflection of an artificial you, thanks to real-time motion capture. I was responsible for the visual development of the piece.
Check it out at the @barbicancentre until August 26 as part of the AI: More Than Human exhibition!

The intercom system for residents in the lobby at Lauderdale Tower. You might not be able to make it out but that’s about 1 metre tall. Interestingly the master key that all residents are given (that opens up every door, gate and entrance in the Barbican) doesn’t work in the towers. Best call to be let in
