Holy HIIT ... my first ride with @oamato was a sweat fest. She passed my test though - hit my calories, soaked my shirt, and my forehead veins came out to party! Got in a glutes workout first thing this morning as well— wanted to crush the day as I am committing to a true rest day tomorrow.

I want to start off by saying that I don’t know what a “regular” dietitian even is. I think the best dietitians out there are the ones that encourage all foods, and that to me is what a “regular” dietitian is/should be.

But this is really about every time a patient has come to me saying I’m going to be mad at them for something they ate. Or someone who comes in for the first time fearing I’m going to take away all their favorite foods. The random person I just meet who hears I’m a dietitian and says “Oh God you would think I have the worst diet ever” or “Ignore what I’m eating right now!” with French fries on their plate.

What I mean to say is, I’m a compassionate dietitian. I’m supportive. Understanding. Non-judgmental (that’s a big one). And I know a ton of other incredible RDs like this who also help people find peace with food, stop dieting, and accept their bodies ✨ Big thanks to all the cool dietitians out there

These bad boys are only 130 calories (14g Protein, 14g Carbs & 3g Fat) say whaaaaat. I tweaked @mason_woodruff recipe and these are DELICIOUS. I threw on some sprinkles & coconut shavings in the batter and wowza

Donut ingredients: 3/4 C flour • 4 scoops (112g) Bowmar Nutrition's Birthday Cake protein powder • 1 tsp Baking Powder • 3/4 C (168g) Fat Free Greek Yogurt •2 large Eggs • 3 TBSP coconut flakes unsweetened

Glaze: 1/4-1/2 C (36-72g) Swerve Confectioners • 1-2 Tbsp Water

Directions:
Preheat and oven to 350F and place a silicone donut mold on a baking sheet or spray a donut tin with nonstick cooking spray. Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add the yogurt and eggs to a large bowl and stir until evenly mixed. (For best result, whisk the eggs together in a separate bowl before adding so you don't overmix the batter.) Transfer the batter to the donut mold, filling each nearly all the way full. (I made my batter yield 9 donuts) Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the donuts are cooked through. When done remove the mold from the oven and allow the donuts to briefly cool before removing and transferring to a wire rack to cool. For the glaze, mix the confectioners sugar and water in a shallow bowl and dip the cooled donuts face down. If you'd like less glaze or a drizzle, use the lower end of the measurements and spoon it on top by hand. I added sprinkles to the glaze mix & threw a few on top.

2 T of chia seeds.
1 cup of plant based milk.
2 T of coconut yogurt. 1 tsp of vanilla powder.
1 T of maple syrup.
mix together and leave for a few hours.
add natural food colouring if you wish. .

Where I started post 2nd baby about 8 years ago, where I was in November about 2 months away from skin removal surgery, where I am now, 5 months out from skin removal surgery(body lift) and back on track to hitting my goals.
Goals aren’t always a linear progression. Sometimes you fall back down a little and need to climb that hill again.
But I can do it and so can you! ❤️
