As I’m writing this I seriously want to throw up and have a mild panic attack..

I am one to hide my body because I don’t like what I see.. and here I am posting my body for all of you to see ♀️.

BUT I’m so freaking proud of myself for putting me first these last 6 weeks. Something I haven’t done in some time.

Was I perfect these last 6 week?
Not by a long shot. I had a cheat meal every Saturday.. that sometimes lead into Sunday.. I had some fudge and some cookies..
.
BUT (yep, another but) I did my 20 minute workouts.. I focused on myself and gave it MY all.
.
So here are my before & after photos for these 6 weeks..

Last 4th of July is on the left and the right is today. I remember wearing these shorts and thinking damn these are tight... but wore them anyways. .

As I was cleaning out my closet, I threw all my jean shorts aside and thought well might as well get rid of them, then I thought noooo let’s try these babies on and see if they fit better. Hell yeah they do! Sometimes you feel like there’s no progress until you do a side by side. That is why they are so important! I am so glad I did because it boosted my confidence soooo much. With that being said BRING ON SUMMER!☀️

For those of you who doubt at home programs here’s proof, and for the haters who are gonna see this and talk behind my back✌ @beachbody has totally changed my life and I’ve only done one program and am currently on hold until I’m completely healed from my surgery but I can’t wait to be back on the grind soon. If I can do it, so can you. I’ll be waiting when you’re ready!

Once upon a time, I was in a very difficult place in my life. At 23 years old, I was an overweight medical student who was constantly stressed, self-conscious, and anxious. The stress and workload of med school overwhelmed me to the point where I would try to binge eat my problems away. I didn’t exercise because I felt like I had to spend all my waking hours studying (med student guilt). Because of this, I was ALWAYS tired. I hated having my picture taken because I couldn’t stand the way I looked. I never socialized because I lacked confidence in myself. I just didn’t FEEL happy or healthy. Even though I was a med student, I felt like I was at an all-time low. I had let myself go

During my last year of med school, I realized that I needed to take my life into my own hands. I couldn’t keep living this way. So I started becoming more mindful of what I ate, and I started exercising daily♀️ I educated myself on healthy eating and discovered workouts like #T25 and #insanity. No surgeries or shortcuts. I didn’t follow a specific diet, but I did decrease my carb intake and was always at a calorie deficit. It took me about 1 year to lose 50 lbs. As I LOST weight, I started GAINING energy, confidence, self-respect, and a spark to live my best life Being healthier not only changes the way you look, it also changes your whole life as well

My diet isn’t perfect and I’m still not at my optimal fitness goal yet — but I’ll continuously be a work in progress. Health is a JOURNEY, not a destination❤️ Hopefully this inspired some of you to make small changes in your life. Thanks for reading, my loves

Anyone can take a pretty picture, but you don’t always see the NOT flattering parts, but this is real life. This is what -135 lb stomach looks like. (And 3 kids!!) Ahh! I did it! I finished #liift4 !! I haven't posted much about my work outs throughout the program, but I've been keeping up with it. I must say that even though I know it worked & can see/feel progress... A program that is mostly weight lifting isn't what I really love doing. This program is really great, but my heart is in a different place. I want to still incorporate weights in my fitness life, just not as the main component. On Monday I'm going to start the #21dayfix !
