For those who have been praying for me this week, thank you!! I saw Dr. Swaid again this morning. In April, he was debating another surgery to try and remove more of the tumor because my symptoms got worse and new ones formed but he and Dr Pappas decided to give my CyberKnife a little longer to ‘cook’. I went for my Stealth MRI this past Monday. Today, I learned it may have a little more necrosis and we will wait and do another MRI in September. He’s hesitant because there will be facial paralysis if we try again based on location and texture, etc. Right now, I have a bit of a reprieve and can finally quit holding my breath. I couldn’t make it on this journey without my precious family. We spent a few days at the gulf laughing, eating, sunning, and playing games. Last night, I spent time with a friend who has stared death in the face and came out swinging- just what I needed to calm my fears. God always knows what & who we need! I appreciate everyone that has lifted my name to our Precious Lord on this brain tumor journey. Prayers are the only thing that has gotten me this far! On Day 5 the kids took a break from the beach and enjoyed The Track in Destin.
