Here are some easy ways to help control mindless eating⤵️
❌ Don’t keep the tempting food around
If you find yourself continuously overeating the same foods - stop keeping them in your cupboards! If the foods are easily accessible, it’s easier to continue to overeat them!
❌ Think before you act
Before you head to the kitchen to check the cupboards, ask yourself - Am I really hungry? How am I going to feel after I eat this? Will this fuel my body?
Thinking before you act can help you control mindless eating.
❌ Allow treats in moderation
Many times, when we struggle with cravings, it’s because we are restricting ourselves in our everyday diet! Allow yourself to fit your favorite treats into your everyday routine in moderation to help reduce the cravings!

When?
Keeping the bar close and arms long during the pull of Olympic lifts
.
How?
When the athlete grips the bar, cue them to point their knuckles down
.
Why?
“This turns the elbows towards the end of the bar and it also engages the tricep slightly to keep the elbows from bending prematurely.”
