I think I have found my most favorite sunscreens ever (both quality and price point wise) First up is the @bioreus watery essence- hands down the lightest facial sunscreen that I have ever come across. It feels like a very watery essence and it just disappears on the skin. No nasty smell/ no white cast. Plus it kinda feels a little cooling on the skin. Next is this @niveame Super water gel( which is just a Japan exclusive product but come on Nivea, please make it available worldwide) omg guys this literally feels like water on the skin. It is that light. No smell at all. It feels dry to touch also but leaves a very satiny sheen on the skin. You know how you see those models with glossy legs, this does that without the tacky feeling. And that is the reason why I don’t use it on my face and use it just on my body. * I used both of these sunscreens in very hot and humid India( I mean the weather now is crazy!) and when I was spending all day at the beach. And whenever I do that I get red and my skin burns a little when I touch but with this ofcourse I got tanned but I didn’t turn red and my skin is not at all sensitive to touch. Testing this very hyped sunscreen, Biore UV aqua rich watery essence. I’m still trying to find the ingredients online cause everything on the packaging is written in Japanese. This was my mom’s but she got another sunscreen brand so I claimed this. I still have nothing to say about this but I like that this has no whitecast for my medium skin. It also has velvet finish. I can feel the silicon-ey feeling. I hope it doesn’t clog my pores since silicone is comedogenic.

my two current sunscreen loves: biore uv aqua rich watery essence (2017 formulation) and canmake mermaid skin uv gel . the canmake is an instant glow giver. it gives a little moisture, but the glow seems to be largely due to the fact that it doesn't ever set or dry down all the way. it sits on top of the skin, but it gives a sheen rather than a heavy look. i find my mac pro longwear concealer doesn't always build easily on top of this sunscreen. between the slooooow dry down time and my difficulty building coverage on top of this sunscreen, i don't use this when i'm in a hurry to get ready. . the biore, by contrast, does dry down, though it doesn't feel drying by any means. it has a strongly alcoholic citrus scent that goes away quickly. it gives a cushion-y feel on the skin - i can tell it's there, even after it's dried down, but it isn't uncomfortable. this wears exceptionally well under makeup, i find. some sunscreens make my base makeup look cakey, but this doesn't. this acts almost like a primer, giving my base something to grip to without making blending any more difficult. . both are spf 50/pa++++, but only the biore is sweat resistant, so i'm planning on retiring the canmake until the fall. with how hot and humid it gets where i live, i need something that will at least try to stick to my face when i'm sweating. . neither of these are sunscreens i'd use for outdoor activities. i still use missha's waterproof sun milk for days at the pool or when i know i'll be spending time outside, and i have a new sunscreen on the way to me right now that i'll be testing for outdoor usage as well! . . . #biorewateryessence #bioreaquarichwateryessence #canmakemermaidskingeluv #canmake #spf #sunscreen #rasianbeauty #abbeatthealgorithm #abcommunity

I scoured each convenience store until I found the @bioreus UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence spf, and the name pretty much says it all ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s light and hydrating, and has the consistency of a thin moisturizer combined with a serum. It initially is a milky beige color but as you rub it in, it disappears into a clear layer, almost like a primer, but with sun protection! Needless to say I’m paying the price now with some hyperpigmentation on my face. Of course it could’ve been much worse. Yes, sunscreen is the best age prevention around and will protect your skin agains the harmful rays of the sun. But first and foremost it will protect you against skin cancer! Although I use SPF all year round, it’s the time of the year when the sun is getting stronger even up here in the north. So it’s vital to use sunscreen! . Since you can't get your hands on my favourite sunscreen in in Europe, I’ve ordered several bottles of Bioré UV aqua rich watery essence SPF 50 from Japan to keep me through the season. I can't stress it enough, but this is the SPF that made me love using sunscreen everyday, all year! It’s a bit heavy on the alcohol and perfume so if that’s an issue for you, you might want to start out with one bottle. On the upside, it’s super affordable . While Bioré is my everyday sunscreen, I tend to go for a classic when on the beach. That’s when you want something more water resistant, and also when I don’t mind my skin being a bit greasy. La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL ultra-light is also super light, won’t clog your and doesn’t leave much of a cast. However, you do get some shine and it smells of sunscreen, which is why it’s not an everyday SPF for me, I save it for the beach . Biore Uv Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+/PA++++(2017 version) ☀️My usual SPF, Missha Waterproof Sun Milk, has done me dirty this winter - it's been making my makeup look cakey and dry. Unacceptable. I can't try any new sunscreens just yet, since I'm currently in the trial period for another product, so I dug out my last half a tube of the Biore, a former fav of mine. ☀️This sunscreen doesn't break me out and it wears nicely under makeup, just as I had remembered from when I'd last used it. I actually used a few tubes of this before I started to dislike the scent and, as a result, stopped using it. The Biore smells like citrus and alcohol, though not nearly as strongly as I remembered. ☀️This applies and sets amazingly quickly, which makes it perfect for most mornings, when I'm rushing to get to work by 7. My makeup looks so lovely over this, and it wears well all day. It applies as a plush but almost watery gel, and it sinks in almost immediately. I find this looks surprisingly dewy on my skin. ☀️I haven't tried the 2015 version to compare this to, but I'm definitely a fan of this. I'm actually almost done with this bottle - shortly after taking this picture, I cut the tube in half so I can scrape out the last few uses. I'm not in a huge rush to repurchase this, since I have several sunscreens in my stash I need to use up, but I would repurchase when I thin out my collection.
