Hiii let’s bust a few #fitchicscience myths
1. Squatting your dog won’t help you build your booty. (But It can probably grow your following though)
2. Doing a different routine and spicing up every workout is not going to give you the best possible and consistent physical results
3. Clean eating diet challenges and detoxes DON’T WORK in the long run. Focus on building SUSTAINABLE habits. Pls dont chug “skinny” laxative teas.
4. There’s no upper/under booty. Thats all I’m gonna say.
5. You cannot TARGET AND SPOT REDUCE BODY FAT. Just working one area of the body won’t magically make you lose fat there!
6. Hip dips are not something to get rid of through “hip dip workouts”. They are NORMAL. If you have hip dips it basically means your hip bone is sitting a little higher than your femur, so fat and muscle in that area cave inward. THAT’s IT!
7. LIFTING HEAVY WONT MAKE YOU BULKY!!!!!1!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WILL JUST MAKE YOU STRONGER!!!!! CUS YOU’RE LIFTING HEAVIER!!! WHO DOESNT WANT TO BE STRONGER!!! BEING STRONGER IS SO COOL!
8. Carbs won’t make you fat. No foods will make you fat. OVEREATING in a caloric surplus does. Also you don’t have to eat a bajillion superfood paleo organic gluten free gmo free vegan carnivore keto high protein low fat refined sugar free acai bowls to be « healthy »
9. No exercises will make you “toned”, there’s no such thing as “toning” workouts or exercises. Muscles don’t “tone”, the literal only thing they do is contract and relax. To achieve a “toned” look, you have to build muscle and lose fat.

Muscle pumps and muscle growth and how to maintain them long after you’ve worked out are hugely dependent on consistent intake of nutrition throughout the day and more importantly shortly after your workout if you haven’t eaten for at least 3 hours!
