A couple weeks ago I had the amazingly talented @lovisaphoto take some branding photos! The pups are a huge part of my life and Grayson is such a little star in front of the camera - we had to get some with him since he’s been by my side from the beginning! He’s the best coworker and also one of the most distracting cause he’s too dang cute! Anyone else have office pups that they love?!
I haven’t shown myself much here recently. I have much more interesting pictures of my lovely clients I can show you but I talk about showing yourself more in your brand to my clients ALL the time, so I must practice what I preach! ☀️

Do you care about your Brand? If so, are you careful with who you attach to it?
No matter if you are a photographer, like me, a model, makeup artist, hair stylist, entrepreneur, etc. you should always focus on your Brand and the story it tells. Unfortunately, so many people are excited to do a photo shoot, book a new gig, or promote a product without thinking about how it will affect their brand.
Remember not all photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, stylists, products, companies, etc. are created equally. As such, just because someone wants to work with you doesn’t mean you have to say, yes, because there is huge power in the word, “NO!” For me, when people hear Brittani Shantel, I want them to think of a Female WOC Photographer who creates high end Beauty and Fashion images. Because of this, I am super careful with who I attach to my Brand.
Think about it this way, when you read a book, you have a vision of what the characters look and act like. Now imagine the book becomes a movie and the characters no longer fit your vision, you might be highly disappointed, right?
The same thing goes for your Brand, people have a perception of what your Brand is, and you want to make sure that the perception becomes a reality.
So, I challenge you to think about your Brand!
Answer me this:
Are you producing the story that you want your Brand to tell and how are you going to protect your brand moving forward?

No. 1 - Update your bio. Be sure the “about you” section is clear on what you do and what is unique about your business. I like to leave a call to action to visit my website for more information on my services, but you can also direct them to your Instagram or another social platform.

No. 2 - imagine viewing from your client's perspective. Does the overall feel of your Pinterest feel on brand? Delete any pins that are not in line with your brand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

No. 4 - Create consistent board covers. This doesn't have to be a branded graphic specifically for your Pinterest. You can just pick an image from your board and select it as the cover photo, just be consistent in the overall "mood" of each image you pick. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
