Our newest Tasting Room exclusive release is here! Introducing Clear Heads, our interactive barrel aging series. If you recall, roughly six months ago we placed our beautiful clear head oak barrels on display in our Tasting Room. Intended to educate visitors about the activity and process of our sour blonde ale, the clear heads showcased the primary fermentation activity within the barrel. You’re probably wondering if light has any effect on the beer and its flavor profile. Short answer is no, The Bruery Terreux beers contain such low hop content, that light struck off-flavors are not present in our beers. After primary fermentation was complete, our brewers then added fresh, juicy blackberries to one barrel, and plump blueberries to the other. The result is tart, complex, and balanced. The perfect beer to enjoy on a hot summer day, and best of all, you watched it ferment and age and now you get to enjoy it! Have questions and want to learn more?
