Here’s’ a little story for today’s #TBT. . As @elevation_bike_co_ mentions below, over 20 years ago we made a batch of 26 single speeds. Does that qualify for back in the day? The single speed Mojo. We did one for every letter of the alphabet. Which is why we did 26. . It was pretty much a standard issue steel Mojo, but with track dropouts so you could adjust the chain tension. And by 'standard issue' we mean one of our favorite bikes we ever did. It had Moron tubing. It had big butts. It was made in Sebastopol California. . We asked each owner what they wanted on their top tube, you were assigned a letter when you ordered the bike, something between A and Z. Some were NSFW. Our pals from Elevation got Y, for Yonni. .
