If you saw my post the other day, you’ll have seen how flowers were a huge part of my life growing up. I think they look spectacular on cakes as decoration and here’s the super simple way that I decorated this one. . 1.) Cut the flowers leaving a little stem 2.) Wrap green florists’ tape around the stem to ensure that none of the stem will come into contact with the cake itself 3.) Practice, practice, practice! Whenever I’m trying something new with a cake I like to practice first on fake tiers to get the colours right. I never use fake tiers in my wedding cakes because I don’t like icing them if I’m honest, but I don’t want to end up wasting a big cake for just a practice run.
