Thrilled to see our little slice of Redondo Beach history in print today! Thanks to South Bay Home magazine for such a great feature.
We think of ourselves as the current caretakers of this special old house so it’s fun to share it with anyone and everyone.
Check it out!

Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) is in full swing around the NSNZ National Office here in Wellington!
Every year since 1975, New Zealand has marked Māori Language Week as a time for all Kiwis to celebrate te reo and to use more Māori phrases in everyday life.
This year, Māori Language Week runs from September 10th-16th and the theme is 'Kia Kaha Te Reo Māori' - 'Let's make the Māori language strong'. Ahakoa iti, ākona, kōrerotia - Learn a little, use a little.
Help us learn some new words / phrases by commenting below with your favourite thing to say in te reo Māori!
We love the word 'hapori' which means community. ❤️ http://www.tewikiotereomaori.co.nz/
Drink Tea, Read Books, Be happy!.... Right? I think that's how goes
We are celebrating Black History Month with Yannis through stories, craft and multicultural nursery rhymes( mostly Ella Jenkins because I just love her)
Today we are reading about Sojourner Truth. Did you know she was the first black women to win a court case against a white man in the 1800s? wow! Talk about #blackgirlmagic
P.S. yes, he’s drinking his imaginary tea while i was reading to him. #representationmatters #blackhistorymonth #celebrateourhistory

I have been sick for the past couple days but now I’m feeling good! Almost back to my normal self so today we are starting out Black History Month celebration.
Everyday we will be reading about black history ( which I think should be a college course thought regular and not just one month out of the year. Just like Math a basic English is a requirement, Black History should be too)
Are you celebrating Black history? If not, how are you teaching your child/ren about diversity?
