@hulksmashfood - SOUND ON
How’s the Classic Bants in the background.
It was a pleasure to head out to @goodcompanybbq last night with my Team Feastmode brothers @kingjaseeats and @bigv_mantovani to witness them both absolutely Smash the Jolly Roger ☠️ Tomahawk Steak Challenge in record time.
Greame and his team at @goodcompanybbq put on quite possibly the best Low’n’Slow BBQ in Melbourne and these huge 1kg Tomahawk Steaks we’re certainly no exception.

This is one of my favs in QLD!
@mytburger char their patties, bake rolls and doughnuts in-house, and the result is a unique tasting burger that is one of my all times.

The burger is slightly smaller than a regular burger (think stacks size) but the taste is outstanding. My bro had a double and he was content. My sis in-law opted for the GF bun and said it was amazing!
•TROUT ACADEMY- TAKE BETTER PHOTOS•
Photography is a big part of our lives these days, we almost always have a camera on us be that a phone, GoPro or more professional grade camera. Here are 3 tips to take better photos:
1)Make a Game Plan- Before you start snapping pics make a plan and take your time. Clear out junk from them background that will distract from the main attraction, the fish. Look and see where the sun is coming from and make sure the fish is not engulfed in shadows. It’s the small details that make a good image great.
2)Focus on the Eye of the Fish- Our eyes naturally use depth of field, it is what feels good to us. Here is a little example, take your hand and hold it in front of your face at arm’s length. Focus on your hand and notice that everything else is out of focus. This is the same feeling you want to create in your pictures, the best way to do it is to focus on the eye of the fish with a setting that allows for shallow depth of field. On a phone portrait mode will do the trick or on a camera lower the aperture to create that pinpoint area of focus. As people look at your photos it will feel as though they are seeing the real fish and give you a much better photo.
3)Drip shots- Place your hand roughly where you will hold the head of the fish, have the person taking the picture compose the shot to account for the fish being where your hand is and then lift the fish into position. Quickly fire off as many shots as possible for 3-5 seconds and lower the fish back into the water. This will add a lot of character to the photo without harming the fish.
