I’m officially back in Chicago and enjoying the spring weather @seadogsushibar (also, in heavy denial that it may ❄️ again this weekend!): Pan-Fried Scallops with basil and garlic soy & Dragon Roll with shrimp tempura, unagi, masago, spicy mayo, and avocado.
Kicking off the week with more deliciousness @inamaetavern: BBQ Shrimp & Grits {stone ground grits, Parmesan, corn & BBQ Shrimp}. This is one of the best versions of shrimp & grits I’ve had outside of NOLA!
When land meets the sea: the super juicy and tender Seared Tenderloin topped with butter poached tails @thecapitalgrille.

The family, headed by Joseph and Lyman Budlong, maintained a successful 500-acre farm in what's now known as Lincoln Square.
The farm's main operation was selling pickled cucumbers and beets, which were first grown in surrounding fields. The hearty vegetables thrived in the sandy soil. We’ve since continued the pickling legacy as we make each pickle fresh in-house, week after week! #funfacts
