This baked Cape Wickham Double Brie recipe is delicious and so simple to make – you really just need to try it yourself!
Ingredients:
200g wheel Cape Wickham Double Brie, chilled
Few sprigs fresh thyme
2 tablespoons walnut halves
Honey, for drizzling
Freshly cracked black pepper, for sprinkling
Crusty bread, crackers or baguette, for serving
Method:
-Place brie in a small ceramic baking dish.
-Score the top of the cheese in a circle around the edge and a crisscross pattern in the centre.
-Sprinkle with thyme leaves and bake at 200°C for 5 minutes. Arrange walnuts on top and bake both for a further 5 minutes or until cheese is oozy.
-Place on a serving board, sprinkle with pepper and drizzle with honey. Serve immediately.
Serving Tips: the cracked black pepper is a must – it really brings the flavours together. Garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme to brighten on serving board.
