I’ve had questions about how Barre has been going, so thought I would do a little post for you today! As you know, I’m a Pilates girl. It’s an amazing workout for my bad arthritic joints. My studio started offering Barre classes, so I’ve been taking them. I was a little worried how it would go for my bad joints especially my knees, but it’s been amazing! It’s very low impact, so I don’t feel any pain in the knees! My leg muscles are already looking more defined too Since I’ve had so many questions about it, we will be sharing a full post on Chemistry Cachet soon about Barre and how it helps joints!! Who needs some caffeine this morning I know I do chasing my little one year old around lol Well, I have good news coffee lovers...coffee is good for your health. Science proves it too! With the level of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and caffeine, coffee is scientifically proven to benefit you in many ways! 1. Depression! Research shows coffee drinkers have lower depression. A medical study even showed those who suffered from depression improved their symptoms by increasing coffee intake. You can google many studies on this! 2. Asthma! My mom has severe asthma and having coffee in the morning has helped her in so many ways especially during a flare. The caffeine can help with breathing and opening up passages. 3. Muscle Recovery...have you ever checked out the ingredients in pre and post workout products? Most of them contain caffeine because it helps with muscle recovery. You can save yourself some money and drink a cup of coffee for the same impact. I notice a huge difference when I drink coffee a little before a workout, my muscles recover much quicker. 4. Longevity! You can read study after study on this, but coffee increases longevity. My Grammy is almost 90 and used to drink a TON Of coffee everyday (for probably 70 years lol). She had to stop recently due to some acid reflux, but she is very agile for her age!
