CLEANING WITH LEMONSSWIPE . See below for my favourite ways of using a lemon to clean! . SINK CLEAN- sprinkle a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda onto the lemon half and scrub in circular motions. Leave for a few minutes and rinse away. . HOB CLEAN- Use the same method as above. . OVEN CLEAN- use the same method as above. . MICROWAVE CLEAN- add half a lemon or a few slices into a bowl of water. Cook on high for 6/7 minutes. The steam will soften any dirt making it easy to wipe away. . WOODEN CHOPPING/SERVING BOARDS- sprinkle coarse salt into your board and simply scrub with half a lemon. This is a great tip for removing stains. . FRIDGE DEODORISER- Add half a lemon to your fridge to keep away bad smells. . DISHWASHER- add half a lemon to your dishwasher. This can be done in a normal wash. Not only does it clean your dishwasher but it will make sure your dishes come out extra sparkly! . GROUT CLEANER- add some lemon juice and a few spoonfuls of bicarbonate of soda in a cup into a paste. Spread the paste over the grout and scrub using an old toothbrush. (Scrub the rest of the tiles before rinising as the paste is great for removing soap scum and water marks). .
