Remembering the day I painted this wall almost 5 months ago. I was crying, mourning the loss of my brother and hoping to bring a splash of his spirit into my home. Every time I look at this wall it reminds me of Jake. I miss him. I miss his contagious smile, his positive outlook on life, his insanely bold personality, his amazing love for his son Owen. I miss it all. I know he's up in heaven right now happy, cancer free and healthy. So that makes me happy for him but still sad for us. Losing someone is hard. It makes you question everything and look at life so differently. In a good way, it reminds you how fragile life is and to enjoy every second, because you just never know if there will be a tomorrow. So sweet friends I hope you hug your loved ones extra today and let the small things go. Life is too short! ❤❤❤ Oh yeah... and add some color to your life!
