They say he who hesitates is lost. Most of the time that may be true. Today I didn't move quick enough to grab the beautiful sunrise. I watched the sky with the purples and pinks through the window in the car. Then, as we got there the sun was huge! Perfect. We parked and it was gone. Still pretty but not much to document with the camera. It's ok, we saw it through our eyes. I still went to the water to grab a few shots. As I turned around to go back home I saw the light and shadows against the wall and knew I got lucky. My hubby and our dog looked so great together. Otis was looking up at Pat with such love. Do, my point is that if I was shooting the sunrise I may nave missed this moment. I can never resist a shot of an American flag. While out for sunset with @frantouhey two nights ago I saw this flag tucked into the brush. It was cool to see the transparency of the fabric through the light. There's a whole big message here about transparency but it's early in the morning and I can't quite go there. I'm still happy for my freedom and lucky I was born where I can speak my truth. Lucky I can go to the most beautiful places for sunrise and sunset and everything in between.
