Although the sun is shining I couldn’t resist working on this little parrot this afternoon! I don’t normally work upwards from the tail feathers but so far it has worked well. I also added a little bit more detail to the head feathers but I will add even more. I just needed a break from the wing feathers! The colours of the Arteza pencils are nice and bright and have been fine so far. I am missing some of the paler colours in my other sets though. There are only seventy- two colours compared to one hundred and twenty Polychromos! At the moment I have forty-four of the pencils sitting on my drawing table! At least he is beginning to take shape. He might have to wait until at least Sunday as I think tomorrow is going to be spent tackling the garden. Not sure what the resident fox will think of that! How are you spending your weekend? . . . .
