So yesterday I basically bashed Din Tai Fung for their XLB soup dumplings (don't hate me, they were still decent!!)
Buttttt they are redeeming themselves with their spicy veggie wonton!! Honestly, the wontons were definitely on the smaller side, but I really enjoyed the fillings as well as the spicy soup/suace - it was very garlicky & as someone who loves garlic flavor, I may be a bit biased towards this dish
I think instead of the XLB, definitely try out these wontons from Din Tai Fung!!!!! Trust me

Pizza cravings were real this weekend @gerimilush ❤️ Smoky chickpea and pepper pizza by @bos.kitchen
Pizza dough (makes 2-3 medium size pizzas)
500g strong white bread flour
2 tsp sea salt
7g sachet dried yeast
1 tbsp maple syrup/sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
325ml water
Sieve flour and salt into bowl and make a well in the middle. Mix yeast, syrup and olive oil into water and leave for a few mins. Add water to the well in the middle of the dry ingredients. Slowly stir together with a fork, then bring together with your hands and knead for 10 minutes until you have a soft dough. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for an hour. Knead to knock back briefly before shaping into three balls. Freeze to use later, or stretch into bases and top with your fave sauce and veggies right away. Cook in the oven at 220•c for 20 mins, until puffed up and golden.

Recipe
12 oz vegan "ground beef"
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup chopped white onion
1 1/2 cups potato (chopped)
1/2 cup cashews
1 carrot (chopped)
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp salt (or more to taste)
1/2 cup vegan cheddar shreds (optional)
1/2 cup non-dairy milk, unflavored and unsweetened
1/2 cup lettuce (chopped or shredded)
1 small tomato (chopped)
Tortilla chips or 4 tostada shells
4 12 inch tortillas
4 small street taco style tortillas
1/2 cup vegan sour cream
Olive oil for pan frying the crunchwraps

Method
Boil the potatoes, cashews and carrots for 20 minutes or until everything is soft.
In a pan add 1/2 tbsp of olive oil and the onions. Cook on a medium heat until onions are translucent. Then add in the vegan ground beef and taco seasoning. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Once the potatoes, cashews and carrots are done cooking strain them if there is any water left.
Place it into a blender along with the nutritional yeast, salt, vegan cheddar shreds and non-dairy milk. Blend until smooth. You may need to add more non-dairy milk to get it very smooth. Taste it and make sure there is enough salt.
Now you are ready to assemble the crunchwraps. Start off with a 12 inch tortilla. Place a few scoops of the vegan ground beef and place it in the center of the tortilla. The circle should be about the size of the small street tortilla.
Now you can build the rest of the filling on top of that. Place a little bit of the cheese sauce on top. Then add the tostadas or a few tortilla chips on top of the cheese sauce.
Next spread about 1-2 tbsp of vegan sour cream over top the tortilla chips.
Sprinkle some lettuce and tomatoes on top. Finally, top it all off with more vegan cheese sauce.
Then take the small tortilla and place it on top of the pile of filling.
Fold the edges of the larger tortilla up onto the smaller tortilla. It may help to watch the video for this step. The result will be a pleated hexagon type shape. Flip it upside down and then place it in a lightly oiled pan.
Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes on a medium heat.

Está es una de esas comidas que hago hace años y decidí bautizar como “rollo” (voy cambiando los rellenos pero básicamente la preparación es siempre la misma) y nose porque nunca la subí a este blog ♀️. Hacela tal cual o cambia de acuerdo a lo que tengas en casa para el relleno. Es de esas cosas que siempre sale bien. Lo podes acompañar con una ensalada como plato principal o cortarlo en pequeñas porciones como entradita para #picadasaludable si tenes amigos en casa. .

RECETA.
vas a necesitar 1 paquete de masa fila. La cajita trae 2 “hojas”. Vas a utilizar las dos. Fíjate la progresión de fotos así ves cómo se arma. primero haces el relleno. ✅No saques la masa de la caja hasta el momento de armar el rollo sino se seca y se rompe. ✅Esto es IMPORTANTÍSIMO. .
✔️engrasa mínimamente una asadera con aceite de oliva. Apoya CON CUIDADO 1 lámina de masa sobre la asadera. Con pincel pinta la masa estirada con chorrito de aceite de oliva. Poquito. Es para que se pegue la segunda capa de masa arriba. Es finita como papel que no se rompa! .
✔️Rellena y pasa al armado del rollo. Ver fotos. Y luego una vez cerrado pinta rollo con oliva (poquito para brilll y crunch). ✔️llevar a horno medio hasta que se dore. Ojo que la masa es finita y se puede quemar. No lo arrebates. .
RELLENO: el de la foto es un mix de calabaza rallada rehogada con cebolla, morron, verdeo. Sume espinaca (congelada y escurrida). 2 cucharadas de queso crema (o yogur de coco para opción #vegana ). + puñado de queso rallado + algunos daditos de queso fresco para que se derrita en el horno. .CONDIMENTOS: sal, pimienta, pimentón, ajo. También podes usar hierbas... inspírate y hace tu versión!! ME CONTAS!?
